We are seeking an Account Director to join our team!

As the leader of a client portfolio, the Account Director is responsible for maintaining exceptional client relationships and continuously demonstrates the value HAWK offers them. The Account Director impresses clients with leadership, creativity, vision and, eloquence and is responsible for working alongside stakeholders (both internal and external) identifying business opportunities and setting key objectives to deliver the work/services.

The Account Director will help grow revenue for the agency through identified opportunities with current clients, as well as support new business targeting/pitches. Ultimately responsible for project and client profitability, the Account Director will always have the agency’s best interest at heart, leading and inspiring the team every step of the way.

Ideal Profile:

  • 5+ years of experience leading client relationships and business/ project growth planning.
  • University Degree - BBA (with Marketing focus), or a combination of experience and education, complemented by an intuitive ability and reputation as a strategic thinker.
  • Experience may be with a marketing agency or from an organization where your incredible business sense and client relationships excel; either in sales, account management, business development or marketing and where the role involved working alongside your client, building the relationship, ensuring their needs were met and identify opportunities.
  • Superior analytical skills and strategic thinking, strong on both IQ and EQ.
  • Effective time-management, impeccable organization and the flexibility to adapt quickly to changes.
  • Very personable with a strong ability to read their audience.
  • Professional and upbeat when working with clients and internal team members.
  • Proven project management and performance management skills, known for your ability to coach and develop talent, inspire and drive change, and bring varied groups together to collaborate effectively
  • A calming person, the ideal candidate is seen as a trusted team member who is focused on the ‘TEAM’s” success and not just their own.
